A growing discussion among HR professionals surrounds the topic of the aging workforce.
While there is plenty to manage (from pensions to age discrimination), the issue of aging talent itself regarding technology and training should be one HR professionals and business leaders alike should be mindful of.
In examining your workforce, whether it be due to routine review, concern over performance, or something else, it is important to consider a number of factors when your workforce spans more than a single generation.

  • Does everyone have access to the tools necessary to complete their job?
  • Is that access equal? Have all employees had access to the necessary training?
  • Have any concerns come up before regarding generational differences or access to training/technology? How were these resolved?

Have you managed talent with a generational gap?
