On Friday, October 11th, Xenium attended the Portland Business Journal 2013 Healthiest Employers of Oregon Awards and received 6th place in the small business category (5-99 employees).
The awards were given by the Portland Business Journal to companies with innovative wellness programs.
The Xenium team earned this award by practicing wellness throughout the workplace in the following ways:
- Launching a formal wellness program
- Providing annual biometric screening and health risk assessment to employees at no cost
- Quarterly wellness challenges (e.g. sleep challenge, 5-a-day fruits and veggies challenge, etc.)
- Support for work-life balance (e.g. flexible work schedules)
