One of Xenium’s major focal points over the years has been the retention and growth of its employees. Xenium does so by offering unique benefits, such as flexible work schedules, job-sharing, health benefit programs, career-pathing, competitive salaries and many other incentives.
Another way Xenium promotes employee retention is though the Employee Satisfaction Committee, or ESC. This committee is tasked with ensuring that the communication between the leaders and employees stays fluid; they also plan many fun company activities that helps us continue to build on the relationships we have with each other.
We find that by offering these benefits and incentives, employees genuinely love working at Xenium, and it shows in the interaction each employee has with each other and the customer service we give to our clients. Just recently, it really showed when Xenium was recently announced as one of the 2011 “100 Best Companies to Work for in Oregon” in the small business category.
We are very proud of this achievement due to the fact that the survey responses come from each of our employees, so there is authenticity behind each of the answers since they are on an individual basis, not in broad form.
We are very optimistic about our ranking amongst the 99 other companies and look forward to celebrating our achievment.
On March 3rd, at the Convention Center in Portland, Oregon Business magazine will announce the rankings of the “100 Best Companies.”
We will follow up to this blog post in March when we find out the results!
