According to an article at Forbes.com, Facebook is gearing up for the release of “Facebook Jobs” later this summer. It will feature aggregated job postings from third party websites. In theory, “Facebook Jobs” will make all postings available in one search-friendly database to its users.
Given the fact that Facebook has about 900 million monthly active users, this new feature may present an enormous opportunity for HR professionals and recruiters. If this feature comes to fruition, it could mean that writing the perfect job posting for the web will become even more important to target and attract the right candidate.
