Effective Thursday, December 3rd, when the statewide “two-week freeze” ends, Oregon will begin using its new risk and protection framework. Below are the county risk levels as of November 30th.

  • Lower risk: Gilliam, Sherman, Wallowa, Wheeler
  • Moderate risk: Harney, Tillamook
  • High risk: Benton, Clatsop, Coos, Curry, Lincoln
  • Extreme risk: 25 counties

According to the new framework, business offices located in counties in the Extreme Risk category (including but not limited to Clackamas, Hood River, Multnomah, Washington and Yamhill) have the following restrictions:

  • Require remote work, if able
  • Close offices to the public, if possible

Additionally, the Governor’s Executive Order states that in counties in the Extreme Risk category, work in offices is prohibited when telecommuting and work at home options are available based on position duties, availability of telework equipment and network adequacy.
