About the Speaker:

Tammi Wheeler, Principal and founder of People Sense, LLC,  has over 25 years’ experience working in Organizational Development and Human Resources, building strategic partnerships and deploying people strategies that are aligned to achieve business results for organizations in government, high technology, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, natural resources and financial services.
Tammi has partnered closely with a variety of clients to provide leadership development, executive coaching, cultural change, management training, high-performance teamwork, meeting design and facilitation and process improvement for public organizations, start-ups and members of the Fortune 100, including Nike and Intel Corp. While at Intel she spent nearly ten years in a number of strategic leadership positions and led a large global team of human resource professionals in the chip design product group.
For Tammi, connecting with clients at a deep level has resulted in developing strong client loyalty and has been her top motivation as she works as a trusted advisor to help leaders improve their business and leadership effectiveness. Some of her clients include: Legacy Health Care, Intel, Oregon Department of Transportation, Oregon Treasury Group, Vestas Wind Technology, Stimson Lumber and Mass Ingenuity. Tammi also works as an adjunct instructor for Portland State University’s Human Resources Extended Studies and Six Sigma Black Belt programs.
Tammi views organizations from a whole-system perspective and believes that effective leaders guiding engaged teams, aligned to clear business goals, utilizing efficient and sustainable processes, will result in exceptional business results. She is confident that committed leaders can improve their business outcomes and that every organization can realize continuous improvement.
She is a certified senior professional in human resources (SPHR), and holds a Master’s Degree in Whole Systems Design/Organizational Development from Antioch University. She is currently completing a leadership results coaching certification in David Rock’s “NeuroLeadership Group Brain-Based Coaching System”. She is also certified in several assessments and programs including: Myers-Briggs, DISC, Hogan, Clark-Wilson 360 Leadership Assessments, Facet Five, Development Dimensions International (DDI,) Achieve Global, and William Bridges Transition Training.
