Xenium HR and Express employees with our BBBS contact (far right) at The BIG Event last Friday!

For the past year and a half, Xenium and our sister company, Express, have participated in a program through Big Brothers Big Sisters called “Beyond School Walls.” This program partners with companies to host children from a local elementary school for lunch, games, arts and crafts, and get to know each other.
In celebration of National Mentoring Month, which is January, BBBS Columbia Northwest held “The BIG Event” on Friday, January 30th at the Sentinel Hotel in downtown Portland, OR. The event featured stories from mentors and Littles, a live auction, and dinner. Xenium’s Suzi Alligood, Anne Donovan, and Allison Julander and Katherine Malloy of Express attended the event.
This year, Xenium’s Anne Donovan, Kelli Woodworth, Belinda Orr, and Allison Julander are participating in the program along with Express’ Jenny Schwenke, Josh Armstrong, Krista DiGiacomo, Julie Tate, Dan Merriman, Laura Howe, Nina Cisneros, and Katherine Malloy.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is a national mentoring organization with chapters located all across the country. Learn more about our local organization, Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia Northwest, and find out how to get involved as an organization or as an individual!
