On October 6th, guests arrived at the banquet room of Montgomery Park in Portland, Oregon for a panel discussion on the “Emerging Employer Model for Growing Companies.”
Three Xenium clients shared their PEO experiences during a Q & A panel discussion.

Gayle White
Gayle White, Executive Director of Schoolhouse Supplies, began by sharing her experiences in transitioning Schoolhouse Supplies from underneath the umbrella of Portland Public Schools, into an official non-profit status. Gayle shared how Xenium helped Schoolhouse Supplies obtain a strategy and solution for HR, Payroll and Benefits.

Jim Grew
The discussion continued with Jim Grew, a former executive at two different large manufacturing firms under the Xenium PEO, as he shared his experiences of having the Xenium HR team help “create a culture of open communication” for their organization.
Josh Aller, the CEO of Spot Metrix added his experience of engaging in the Xenium PEO during Spring of 2011. According to Josh, his goal, at the time, was to focus on what he does best, the strategic and operational side of his business rather than spending a lot of his time managing as an employer.
Fran Barnwell, a Partner at Bullard Law also joined the group of panelists to give his experience in working as a legal partner with Xenium for over 10 years.
The “Emerging Employer Model for Growing Companies” is an annual educational event hosted by Xenium.
