On Wednesday, August 11th, Oregon’s Governor announced a new statewide mask requirement for all indoor public settings beginning Friday, August 13, 2021.
While the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) has not yet updated its website to reflect this new guidance, it is safe to assume this new mandate applies to workplaces just as previous mask mandates did. As a result, employers in Oregon should begin requiring employees to wear masks no later than Friday.
