Oregon and Washington both announced that their statewide mask mandates for indoor spaces and schools will be lifted effective March 12, 2022. This is an earlier end date to the mandate than both states had announced last week. Masks will still be required in health care and long-term care settings and on public transportation. Businesses in both states may continue to require masks for employees and customers if they choose to.
