We recently shared that the EEOC is requiring 2018 pay data to be reported in this year’s EEO-1 report. The EEOC has now confirmed that employers will need to submit both 2017 and 2018 employee pay data (known as Component 2) broken down by race, ethnicity, and gender by September 30, 2019.
The EEOC expects the portal to submit pay data information to be open on or about July 15, 2019. Employers are still required to submit the Component 1 information (race, ethnicity, and gender) by May 31, 2019. Visit the EEOC’s website for additional details:
