Portland commuters: if you haven’t heard by now, traffic in Portland, Oregon is likely to spike in July and August 2018
Why? Well, according to ODOT:
Commuters can expect 24-hour a day closures lasting up to two weeks on the bridges that connect I-84 and I-5 start July 8 to extend the service life of the three bridges that connect the two interstates.
So, with bridge closures affecting the flow of traffic in key connection points around Portland, what will it mean for employees commuting to and from work? And what does it mean for the organizations who have employees or clients commuting in the area?
We believe there are some temporary solutions that some employers can implement.
