Juan is an employee experience representative at Xenium, where he helps with day-to-day operations for clients. His responsibilities include logging issues, assisting HR with accident reviews and reference calls, and providing information on benefits and leave policies.
Prior to Xenium, Juan had a similar role at Columbia Sportswear, where he supported employees at all levels with policy questions and career development. Originally from El Salvador, Juan moved to the United States as a teenager and has lived in both California and Oregon.
Juan was drawn to Xenium because of the company’s inclusive and positive culture, which aligns with his own values. He appreciates that Xenium looks beyond appearances and focuses on an individual’s character. In his personal life, Juan has discovered a green thumb, and now has a thriving indoor garden with plants like monsteras, snake plants, and spider plants. He also enjoys action movies and the magical realism novels of Colombian author Gabriel García Márquez. An adventurous eater, Juan is eager to try any new dish that tastes good.
