Sheila serves as a Human Resource Generalist at Xenium, where she partners with HR Business Partners to support client accounts. Her work spans employee handbooks, job descriptions, performance management toolkits, and compliance assessments, as well as research, policy review, and project management for client deliverables. Sheila’s background in technical recruiting, her administrative experience at the federal probation office, and her previous role leading Xenium’s Employee Experience Team give her a well-rounded foundation for guiding clients through everyday HR challenges and project delivery.
A Portland native with family roots in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sheila graduated magna cum laude from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a minor in Legal Studies, and an MBA from Willamette University. Sheila was drawn to Xenium by its collaborative team environment, support for local businesses, and the opportunity to further her career in Human Resources.
Outside of work, Sheila enjoys a variety of summertime activities, particularly spending time by the water at beaches or rivers. She values her connections with family and friends, including her beloved cats, and makes time for fitness when possible. Sheila has a passion for travel, especially trips back to Europe to visit family. In her downtime, she indulges in watching TV shows, with a fondness for “The Office” and reality TV series like “Love Island.” Sheila also appreciates Mediterranean cuisine and frequents local spots in Lake Oswego and Gresham.
