Nathan started in July of 2020 as a Benefits Rep II and was recently promoted to Benefits Specialist. In this role he is responsible for the day-to-day administration of our ASO and PEO benefit programs, providing technical support to his clients with enrollment, benefits solutions and reporting, ensuring efficient benefits administration and top-notch client satisfaction.
Nathan’s prior work experience was primarily with a large payroll processing company where he held several roles, including Client Support Specialist (levels 1 and 2) and, most recently Human Capital Management Specialist. He provided front line support for his clients in both roles, with the latter position supporting a more dedicated select group of larger clients. He worked with benefits, talent and performance modules, as well as supported with open enrollment.
Nathan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (marketing emphasis) from Portland State University, but he spent the first three years of his college education at Oregon State University.
What brought him to Xenium was a desire to continue in the field of Benefits Administration but on a smaller, more client-focused scale. He enjoys getting to know his clients on a level in which he can provide service with a personal touch. Xenium’s company culture seemed like a good fit for him, and it was a bonus to find a former colleague here!
A 5th generation Oregonian, Nathan grew up in Boring, Oregon, just east of Portland. He spent some time living around the Portland area until he decided to purchase his first home in Gresham. He loves being close to all the activities that he is passionate about, such as camping, kayaking and skiing. He also enjoys building things through his hobbies of wood working and welding. Relaxation time is spent watching historical documentaries or anything space related. His favorite food is spaghetti with meat sauce.
