As an HR Business Partner, Micaiah is the first point of contact for clients, evaluating their needs and connecting them with with the resources to serve them best.
Born and raised in Alaska, Micaiah has 10 years of experience in HR, working at a hospital in Fairbanks, where she progressed up the ladder from HR front desk to business partner in 2019. In working with both clinical and non-clinical departments, Micaiah found herself on the front line throughout COVID-19, providing support for employees and leaders faced with incomparable challenges.
Micaiah has both a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an MBA from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She is a SHRM Certified Professional. She values listening and empathy with employees and clients. “I really do try to customize my approach,” she explains, “And I put myself in the in the shoes of the person I’m working with so I can truly be a partner to them. I love helping people.”
She also enjoys hiking, farmer’s markets, yoga, and snowboarding, and looks forward to visiting Mt. Hood this winter. Stop by her office for good fishing and bear stories anytime.
