As an Sr. HR Generalist at Xenium, Kassy works on a variety of projects including, research, handbooks and job descriptions. She brings a unique set of skills to the position, having worked in both the private and public sectors, beginning with a post-college year of service with AmeriCorps.
A Washington native, she arrived in Oregon to work as a health and wellness coordinator at a nonprofit, developing training programs and driving statewide initiatives in partnership with local communities. Kassy’s HR career began as a Generalist at a leadership and consulting company, focusing largely on Diversity and Inclusion Training in Fortune 500 Spaces.
Culture and connectivity drew Kassy to Xenium. “You can have real conversations here,” she explains. “Which is so important. I look forward to growing in my position here.”
Kassy has a bachelor’s degree Central Washington University, is a Specialty Community Trainer at the Oregon Registry and a SHRM Certified Professional. She enjoys running, surfing and martial arts, is a self-described “science and history nerd,” loves sushi and is always looking to try new things.
