Diana McCarty brings a unique blend of human resources expertise to her role as an Onsite HR Generalist at a Child Advocacy Center in Oregon City. Though relatively new to the HR field, having joined Xenium just two years ago, Diana has already accumulated diverse experience working for the state of Oregon Employment Department as an unemployment claims adjudicator and business employment specialist.
After taking time off, Diana earned her bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Columbia College in 2020. The flexibility offered by Xenium was extremely appealing, allowing her to maintain frequent travel. Diana is a northwestern transplant who had previous residence in Michigan, Florida, and Washington due to her husband’s service in the United States Navy, ultimately settling in Oregon back in 2007.
When not at the Child Advocacy Center, Diana’s biggest hobby is undertaking home renovation projects alongside her husband. She also delights in being outdoors as much as possible, whether hiking, walking, tending to her flower garden, skiing in the winter, or boating during warmer months. With her versatile background and recreational nature, Diana is a tremendous asset to the HR team.
