Katy brings eight years of specialized experience in leave and disability services to Xenium. Throughout her career, she has handled a comprehensive range of leave programs including FMLA, paid leave in Oregon, and multi-state leave administration for various qualifying events. Her expertise encompasses managing leaves for individuals caring for themselves or family members, as well as military service-related absences. Prior to joining Xenium, Katy worked for a large Wisconsin-based company where she supported nearly 10,000 employees coast to coast, managing their complete leave process.
What drew Katy to Xenium was the company’s focus on smaller to mid-size clients and its distinct company culture. She appreciates the opportunity to work more closely with clients in this space, where she feels she can make a meaningful impact by helping both Xenium and its clients navigate the leave process effectively. Her passion for leave administration and commitment to client service aligns perfectly with Xenium’s mission.
Originally from Wisconsin, Katy has lived in various parts of the country including Florida and Texas, though she returned to her home state in 2016. She holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Outside of work, Katy values her family time and enjoys spending summers swimming and being outdoors with her children. She appreciates quiet moments of relaxation and is an avid reader of romantic comedies and Hallmark-style books.
