Brittney serves as a Payroll Specialist II at Xenium, where she expertly manages all payroll processes for her designated book of clients. Her strong foundation in the field comes from three years of experience in an identical role at another PEO based in Hawaii. Brittney joined Xenium following enthusiastic recommendations from her former colleague Kathy, who spoke highly of the company culture and team environment. While currently holding an advanced high school diploma, Brittney plans to enhance her professional credentials by pursuing her payroll certification in the fall.
With a diverse background spanning multiple locations, Brittney was born and raised in Hawaii before relocating to Las Vegas during her junior year of high school. Almost three years ago, she made the move to Austin, Texas, where she currently resides with her husband and two daughters. Family holds central importance in Brittney’s life, evidenced by their weekly “Family Day” tradition every Saturday, when they discover new restaurants and activities together around Austin.
Brittney considers the gym her personal therapy and essential alone time away from family responsibilities. She describes herself as having eclectic tastes, particularly appreciating classic films like “About Time,” “Home Alone 2,” and “Mrs. Doubtfire.” Her Hawaiian upbringing fostered a deep appreciation for culinary diversity, with fondness for Hawaiian and Filipino cuisine—foods she misses and can’t easily find in Austin. Recently, she’s developed an interest in lighthearted podcasts as an alternative to music during her gym sessions.
