Education

B.S. in Human Development from Warner Pacific

Chloe brings a diverse background in human resources, behavioral health, and customer service to her role at Xenium. A Portland native who graduated from Clackamas High School, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Warner Pacific. Her experience in human resources spans employee onboarding, employee relations, benefit administration, and leave management, along with years in childcare and customer service roles. This varied background has helped her develop a calm, collected demeanor and the ability to meet people where they are—skills she’s eager to apply as she pursues HR certifications with SHRM or PHR.

What drew Chloe to Xenium were the company’s shared values and trauma-informed culture. Having worked in behavioral health, she values being able to help people in tangible ways while feeling supported by her employer. This alignment allows her to give her best self to others without “pouring from an empty cup”—a balance that was particularly important to her.

Outside of work, Chloe’s preferred place to be is outdoors, from camping and hiking to paddle boarding and birdwatching. You may find her photographing the various birds who visit her back yard (especially hummingbirds!). A passionate reader, she completed 88 books last year and is aiming for 100, gravitating toward mysteries and thrillers. She also loves cooking, baking, and exploring new restaurants, valuing the connection that sharing a meal can bring. Chloe approaches life with the belief that she’s never met a stranger—just a friend she hasn’t met yet. Her ideal day ends with a chorizo burrito (hold the cilantro) and a good laugh from a British comedy like Taskmaster.
