Chelsea joined the Benefits team as a Benefits Representative in November 2021 and is now a Benefits Specialist I. Chelsea manages a book of clients for their benefit administration, including managing relationships with carriers and insurance brokers and managing open enrollment and day-to-day benefit inquiries from employees.
Chelsea attended Portland State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
She was with the City of Hillsboro, Parks & Recreation for almost 14 years part-time in various roles across the organization, most recently working as the Membership Services Representative handling recreation membership administration. During her time with the City of Hillsboro, she worked in early childhood education as a lead teacher for KinderCare, where she taught varying age groups and marketed, expanded, and maintained the onsite extracurricular learning program.
Working in benefits at Xenium was a new venture for Chelsea in 2021, and she has since then enjoyed expanding on her knowledge of benefits. She genuinely cares about the impact our work has on our clients and their employees.
Chelsea is an amazing team player and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure things are done correctly and satisfy our clients and their employee’s needs. She is very detailed and rarely misses anything, which her team appreciates and loves her for.
