Michele joined the Xenium team in August of 2020 as an Onsite HR Generalist, splitting time between two of Xenium’s clients. In these roles she processes payroll, handles employee relations, completes new hire onboarding and assists with the performance management process, benefits administration and recruiting.
Most recently, Michele worked as an HR Specialist and Training Coordinator for Chronos Imaging, and prior to that, as an HR Generalist for Philips Healthcare. In her pre-HR life, she worked with adults and children with brain injuries. She graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.S. in Social Work, and also earned her PHR certification.
In 2019, Michele and her husband moved to the Portland area as the result of her husband’s job transfer and she worked remotely for her previous employer. The opportunity to have the HR support and services provided by Xenium combined with an onsite position was what attracted Michele to this role.
Michele was born in Connecticut, grew up in Vermont and lived in the Boston and Chicago areas before moving to Beaverton last year. Oregon has been a great place for Michele to pursue her weekend passions – hiking, biking and snowboarding. She has also picked up a new hobby since moving here … gardening! She and her husband share their home with two cats named Oscar & Felix. “Where the Crawdads Sing” and anything written by John Grisham are the books you will find on her nightstand. Her food cravings consist of Thai, deep dish pizza, ice cream and chocolate.
